Jacqueline Gunn
Jacqui Gunn is the Founder and Chairperson of Talking About Loss (TAL). Her love of helping people has aided in the popularity of this charity which proudly supports hundreds of bereaved people across Yorkshire, offering them a safe place to help ease the isolation and fear that can surround grief, and help them find their own way through the grieving process.

Community Engagement Manager
Josephine Hall
On moving to Yorkshire during the COVID-19 lockdown, Josephine became involved with TAL as a volunteer. In April 2022, Josephine joined the TAL team as Community Engagement Manager and, also took on the role of Grants Management.

With over thirty years of experience within customer-facing roles, the last 15 within the charity sector, Josephine is a vital player within the Talking About Loss team. She thrives on relationship building and is practical and outgoing with an enthusiastic and energetic attitude to working in the community. Josephine also leads our Craft Therapy group which takes place every Wednesday in Market Weighton.

Charity Manager
Harriet Lawson
Harriet joined the TAL team in 2023 to assist Jacqui in the day to day running of the charity. Having worked in the property industry for the last 4 years, Harriet is now embracing this new role. Harriet has a MSc in Commercial Real Estate and a BSc in Business. Country sports and horse riding are two of her most passionate hobbies.
